Blacksmithing

A crude guide to levling blacksmithing! (You'll want to try out cultural smithing after you get to about 150 or higher skill)
This is a good progression given the current trivials.
If you open the Forge, you'll see you can choose recipes, but you'll only have access to thoes within your skill level. If you wnat to make something new, you'll need to click the "Experiment" button and then look up the recipes.
Skilling Up
0 to 18
- Metal Bits (Trivial @ 18, but make enough for some tools) or---Train to 21 through the class trainer!
18 to 46: Make a file first! You'll need it to make Metal rings and other components, it also gets returned after use.
- High Quality Metal rings: File, Large Brick of High Quality Ore, water flask (you'll use these after Banded)
38 to 115: Banded Armor (mask trival at 90 - Mail trivial at 115)
- You'll need platinum to buy: Sheet Metal, Water flasks, and sectional molds
115 to 160+ Ornate chain armor will help get you there, but it's expensive
115 to 162: Cultural Sewing Kits (After the kits are added to the game)
- You will need a small brick of _______ purchased from the smithing vendor in the starting city.

- ogre and dark elf - adamantite
- gnome - fortified bronze
- human and barbarian - high quality

- wood elf and high elf - mithril

Recipe is: Water Flask, Thimble Mold, Needle Mold, Small Brick of ______ (cultural metal)
163 to 179-(188): Fine plate Armor (Veil trivial at 163, Greaves at 179, Breast plate 188)
- You'll need: Medium Quality folded Sheet Metal, Water flasks, smithy hammer, Leather padding (from Tailoring),and plate molds (Ex:"Breastplate mold")
Cultural blacksmithing

Nanostones, and Shapers for players
When a player finds a Gem of "mana" (or pick a name from the list below) they will need a Blacksmith to create the items needed to turn that raw gem into somehting useful for them. A smith will create the nano stones and Shapers at the forge, using Components bought from "Misty".
- open the forge after getting the appropriate smithing level and you will see the recipes!

Ornate Chain
- Cost shown represents the cost of the Raw material: meaning.. high quality ore, and 1 of the jewlery bars. (Not the patterns, and gems. also the Gems are subjet to chage based on who's buying.) platinum bars are about 102plat each. rubies are about 100 plat each etc... now add in patterns, etc.. the cost ends up being more then what you think.
