Lore:

In the shadowed depths of Lower Guk, amidst the chaos of a coup, the frogs, displaced and desperate, sought sanctuary in the forbidding gorge. Their harrowing tale reached the ears of the mighty minotaurs, guardians of ancient knowledge. Moved by their plight, the minotaurs guided the surviving frogs to the fabled Evil Eye, a being of unfathomable sight.

The Evil Eye, beholding the threads of fate, revealed to the refugees a crypt where safety awaited, but at a dire cost. To secure their refuge, they must pledge allegiance to Baglaron, a high priest who served as a conduit for the dark will of Cthulhu, the ancient and malevolent entity that slumbered beneath the waves.

With trepidation, the frogs accepted, knowing that their salvation was intertwined with servitude to this eldritch overlord. Yet, the path to their newfound haven was fraught with peril. As they ventured forth, their steps led them to the ominous Castle Mistmoore, where deception lurked within its darkened halls. Ensnared by the castle's inhabitants, they were delivered into the clutches of Baglaron, a being imbued with the essence of Cthulhu, whose influence extended far beyond mortal comprehension.

Baglaron, an avatar of cosmic terror, demanded not only the obedience of the frogs but also sought to expand Cthulhu's dominion over land and sea alike. Under its command, expeditions were launched into the treacherous depths of the ocean, voyages undertaken in servitude to the ancient slumbering horror that awaited in the abyssal depths.

Amidst the churning tides and the murky depths, the true extent of Cthulhu's power remained veiled, its influence stretching like tentacles through the very fabric of reality. And so, in the dim recesses of Baglaron's domain, the frogs found themselves conscripted into a grim fate, their progeny bred in the incubators of their new master, while whispers of rebellion stirred among those who dared to defy the will of the ancient cosmic entity that loomed over them.
